as 2019 moves into its summer months the next release on the other side comes from a young japanese artist who has been turning heads world wide. kai kan delivers a 3 track ep of finely tuned, stripped down minimal grooves. this incredible package comes with a killer remix from perlon mainstay and ultrastrech boss sammy dee, as he takes a combination of all three originals moulding them into an absolutely stellar purple hummer reconstruction, do not sleep on this!
it’s the idea of capturing a moment on vinyl that created the first release of “henk”. after countless hours of twitching the knobs on their machines the dj’s and producers stikdorn and mk braun created a string of tracks that will now see the light of day on their collaborative label. on the a1 a solo track by stikdorn takes you into darker spheres with an acid line and mystic strings/vocals. the a2 is an acidic banger ready to damage some dance floors seriously. on the b-side things get slower and quirkier. b1 is a bit broken and features a trippy acid line to guide you through lots of different drum patterns. b2 is a melancholic ride going seriously deep and mellow. the perfect closing track!
